What is it like to live inside a depressed mind? In this presentation, Joey shares his experience of wanting to end his life in his 20s and how he battled with mental health after being diagnosed with depression, anxiety, addiction and borderline personality disorder.
Having lost his father at a young age to a debilitating disease, Joey shares stories of his struggle with suicidal thoughts and how he learned to flip the script. He explains why many depressed people resort to isolation, how to recognize depression in others and techniques bring them out of the darkness and into the light.
